General terms and conditions of sale and use

The present terms and conditions of sale are available at all times and systematically brought to the attention of each customer/user to enable them to place an order. Thus, placing an order and checking the box "I accept the terms and conditions of sale" during the payment process implies the customer's full and unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.

Victory Quizgame is owned by SCAD SARL. These general terms and conditions of sale are applicable to any contract for the provision of a game room concluded between (1) any company in the SCAD SARL group and (2) the users of the room, who will hereinafter be referred to as "USERS"; whether they have booked personally or are part of the team of the person who made the booking, hereinafter referred to as "THE BUYER". These conditions also apply regardless of the means of reservation, whether it is made via the Victory Quizgame website, hereinafter referred to as the "WEBSITE", or with the staff of SCAD SARL. The game space made available to players is referred to as the "ROOM" and the contract for making it available as the "CONTRACT". The game for which the BUYER books and pays on the WEBSITE is called a "GAME SESSION".

SCAD SARL acknowledges the right to modify or have modified all or part of these general terms and conditions of sale as well as the content of its WEBSITE (https://www.victoryquizgame.fr), at its sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice.

SCAD SARL's general terms and conditions of sale are available on the WEBSITE and can be consulted on request from SCAD SARL's reception staff.

According to the very principle of the game, SCAD SARL grants USERS the right to occupy the ROOM for a maximum of 60 (sixty) minutes. The sole purpose of occupying the ROOM is to take part in a game organized by SCAD SARL, which must be played by teams of between 3 and 8 or 12 people maximum (depending on the room, see the website).

USERS agree to a maximum of 60 minutes in the ROOM.

Admission to the ROOM is only possible on presentation of the reservation confirmation email (sent shortly after the payment process to the BUYER) and on presentation of the BUYER's ID.

The game is open to all USERS. USERS under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. USERS over the age of 12 need not be accompanied by an adult. In the event of doubt as to the age of a USER, SCAD SARL reserves the right to request proof of identity.

USERS are required to maintain the ROOM and all its equipment (non-restrictive list: decorations, furnishings, etc.) in good condition and to use it in accordance with its authorized use. Consequently, the USER acknowledges in the CONTRACT that any damage caused intentionally or by unauthorized handling of the room and its equipment will be billed.

Furthermore, the USER is obliged to use the ROOM and its equipment in such a way as not to cause or risk causing any damage to other USERS, SCAD SARL's premises or equipment.

While on the premises of SCAD SARL, the USER undertakes to behave in a respectable manner, to comply with the rules and to cooperate with the staff of SCAD SARL. In this regard, SCAD SARL does not tolerate any form of violence, whether verbal or physical, in the form of harassment or intimidation of its employees, and therefore reserves the right to refuse access to the premises to any person whose behavior is similar to that described above. SCAD SARL also reserves the right to refuse access to any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as a safety measure for said person and his or her entourage. For all the above-mentioned conditions, refusal of access does not give entitlement to any compensation or reimbursement.

Due to the nature of the game, no recordings may be made in the ROOM. The use of video and/or audio recording devices (including but not limited to cell phones, cameras, Go Pro) is strictly forbidden. Any use of such equipment may result in a complete stoppage of the game for the entire team.

SCAD SARL expects its USERS not to disclose details of the game directly and/or indirectly. Any partial or total disclosure would violate the commercial interests of SCAD SARL.
 

The prices charged by SCAD SARL are shown on the WEBSITE (on the home page and in the "missions" tab) and are also displayed at the SCAD SARL reception desk. They are quoted in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes, per person, for a sixty-minute SESSION. The price per person depends on the number of participants in the same team (3 to 8 or 12 people maximum). Prices are degressive and change as follows:

Price per player :

3 players: €33/player, 4 to 6 players: €25/player, 7 to 12 players: €22/player.

SCAD SARL reserves the right to modify its rates at any time. All BUYERS will pay the amount relative to the tariff in force at the time of their reservation.

The use of a ROOM is subject to prior reservation and payment. This is done by the BUYER on the SCAD SARL WEBSITE: https://www.victoryquizgame.fr

All reservations are made via the WEBSITE and are subject to availability. The reservation is firm and definitive only after receipt of the reservation confirmation email, which is sent to the BUYER at the end of the payment process.

In certain exceptional cases, SCAD SARL staff may make the reservation on behalf of the BUYER if the latter is unable to make the reservation on the WEBSITE. In such cases, the BUYER unreservedly accepts that SCAD SARL or its staff will not be held liable in any way for this type of reservation, in which case the staff will only act as data entry operators in accordance with the BUYER's instructions. The BUYER hereby waives all recourse for misuse, breach of confidentiality or fraudulent use of his account.

Only credit card payments are accepted on the WEBSITE. If the BUYER is unable to pay for the reservation by credit card, he/she must first inform SCAD SARL staff and go to reception on the day of the RESERVATION to pay the amount in euros by cheque, credit card or cash (in euros).

SCAD SARL has entrusted the management of its payment platform to a service provider specialized in securing online transactions. The latter does not store any data concerning the BUYER in its databases.

The WEBSITE is available in French and English. However, in the event of a dispute, only the French version of the WEBSITE and the general terms and conditions of sale may be invoked against SCAD SARL.

In accordance with article 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised for contracts for the provision of accommodation services - other than residential accommodation -, goods transport services, car rental, catering or leisure activities which are to be provided on a specific date or at a specific time. Consequently, no reservation may be cancelled or reimbursed except in the event of cancellation by SCAD SARL alone. In the latter case, the amount of the initial reservation will be refunded.

Reservations may not be transferred or resold for commercial purposes. If a reservation is transferred or resold in violation of this article, the holder of the reservation will be denied access.

If the USERS are late for a reserved SESSION, the USER may decide whether or not to start the game. In all cases, the ROOM must be vacated at the time specified in the initial reservation. SCAD SARL reserves the right to refuse access to USERS who are 20 minutes or more late. The times will be systematically reminded in the confirmation emails sent by SCAD SARL.

If fewer USERS show up to take part in the PLAY SESSION than originally planned at the time of booking, the BUYER and/or USERS shall not be entitled to a refund of the difference in price.

If more USERS show up to take part in the game SESSION than were initially scheduled when the reservation was made, the difference in price must be paid before taking part in the game, within the limit of 8 or 12 players (USERS) authorized per ROOM.

SCAD SARL reserves the right to refuse any reservation to a BUYER who has not paid for all the services invoiced.

In accordance with article 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised for contracts for the provision of accommodation services - other than residential accommodation -, goods transport services, car rental, catering or leisure activities which are to be provided on a specific date or at a specific time. Consequently, no reservation may be cancelled or reimbursed except in the event of cancellation by SCAD SARL alone. In the latter case, the amount of the initial reservation will be refunded.

For private customers (except for bookings following a commercial agreement with a signed quotation) SCAD SARL authorizes the cancellation of bookings in the form of a session postponement. To do so, send an e-mail to

This will result in the issue of a credit note corresponding to the amount paid, less a deduction based on the table below:

- If the cancellation or postponement request is made more than 7 days before the session: credit note without deduction

- If cancellation or postponement is requested between 48 hours and 6 days before the session: credit note with 25% deduction

- IF cancellation or postponement is requested less than 48 hours before the session: 50% credit note deduction

For gift cards, and in accordance with the provisions of article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, in the case of distance selling, the purchaser has a cooling-off period of 14 days from receipt of the gift card by the Purchaser, or failing that, the Beneficiary, without having to give any reason or pay any penalties, with the exception of delivery and return costs, which will remain the responsibility of the purchaser.

To retract, the Beneficiary must inform SCAD SARL of his/her decision to retract by sending an email to the address hello@victoryquizgame.fr, giving details of the purchase, before the expiry of the period stipulated in article L. 221-18.

You have the following rights concerning your personal data: 

• The right to request access to your personal data: This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are processing it in accordance with the law. 
• The right to request correction of your personal data if it is inaccurate. You may also complete any incomplete personal data in our possession, taking into account the purposes of the processing. 
• The right to request the deletion of your personal data if it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or processed. In accordance with the law, you can ask to be added to a list of people who oppose telephone canvassing: https://conso.bloctel.fr/

The BUYER is responsible for the accuracy of the information entered on the online reservation form on the WEBSITE.

The BUYER accepts to receive from SCAD SARL information and commercial offers on his email address or cell phone by clicking on the authorization box of the WEBSITE.

BUYERS and/or USERS who enter their telephone number on the SCAD SARL WEBSITE hereby agree to be contacted by SCAD SARL by telephone or SMS.

The BUYER providing the contact details of other players/USERS (first and last names, telephone numbers, email addresses) authorizes SCAD SARL to send information and commercial offers to them.

SCAD SARL undertakes not to transmit the personal data of its USERS to any company outside the SCAD SARL group, except at the request of an authority authorized by law and within the framework of the legal provisions in force.
 

The USER agrees to comply with all security measures given to him/her, whether they are contractual, posted on site or given orally by SCAD SARL personnel.

Furthermore, the USER certifies that he/she has taken note of the quizgame's usual features, in particular the object manipulation games, the physical course, the secret passages and others.

Consequently, the USER agrees not to sue SCAD SARL in the event of an accident due to a lack of vigilance or precautions.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the site.

Each USER undertakes to take note of and comply with the safety and fire protection instructions, as well as the emergency exits. These are clearly identified in the SCAD SARL premises. It is strictly forbidden to obstruct emergency exits, which must be kept clear at all times. The USER may use the emergency exits if and only if the situation requires evacuation of the premises (e.g. fire). Any abuse and/or untimely opening of these exits by one or more USER(S) will result in the re-invoicing of the costs incurred by this abuse.

The USER is aware that it is absolutely forbidden to bring onto the premises and into the ROOM items considered to be (1) physical hazards (explosive, flammable, oxidizing, pressurized or liquefied gas, corrosive), (2) hazardous to health (toxic, corrosive to the skin, irritant/sensitizer, carcinogenic/teratogenic) and (3) hazardous to the aquatic environment.

Likewise, it is strictly forbidden to touch, handle or open (non-restrictive list) any object bearing the following label:

Items bearing this label are not part of the game, and SCAD SARL staff will remind you of this before the team enters the ROOM.

Photos of each USER team may be taken before or after the game session. These photos may be used by SCAD SARL to feed its WEBSITE or its digital ecosystem (Examples without restriction, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.). These same photos will be emailed to USERS within a reasonable time after the game session.

SCAD SARL cannot be held responsible for the use of the photos by the USERS and/or the BUYER.

Each ROOM is equipped with a video surveillance and listening device enabling SCAD SARL staff to monitor the gaming session and refer USERS if necessary. This device only contributes to the game and in no way records the USERS' gaming SESSIONS.
 

These terms and conditions and any contract entered into incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by French law and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
